Experience Druid Spirituality and Community

White Horse Camps are a community of loving friends with a deep connection to druidry and the magic of the seasons. We celebrate the 4 fire festivals (Lughnassadh, Samhain, Imbolc and Beltain) with seasonally appropriate events.

We weave ceremony, creativity, fun and games and make deep connections in a heartfelt spirit of togetherness and harmony. At every camp we welcome new people into our community as friends.

Our camp is International, as people travel from all over the world to come to our camps.

White Horse Camps are two things, a loving community of people, and a place to explore and practice druidry. These two aspects weave themselves together to create our camps.

During the event we explore our connection to nature, attend great workshops, celebrate with ceremony, and play live acoustic music. We have community yurts, a kids space, a well-being area, a kitchen, and even a shower sauna caravan.

Join us as we gather together to celebrate sacred times that mark the turning of the seasons. Come and experience a sense of real community in a safe and sacred space. Experience special moments of joy as well as relaxation.

White Horse Camps started life in 1994 as the official OBOD Camps, back then this was the only Camp associated with the Order. There are now many other camps which are linked to OBOD so the decision was taken in 2012 for the Camps organisation to become independent from OBOD, so the Camps were renamed White Horse Camps in 2013.

The name was chosen by Camps members for the association of the white horse and the land which had supported us for so many years, and the sense of freedom the spirit of the white horse symbolises. The Camps are still very much connected to OBOD druidry and people who attend can receive initiation into the OBOD grades at a camp on request. We also offer other initiations such as coming-of-age, handfastings, coming into eldership, and more.

We invite you to come and experience our camps, im sure you’ll have a lovely time.

White Horse Camps are open to Camps members, members of the Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids, their friends, family. Our camps are not open to the general public to maintain a held sacred space. Like-minded people with an interest in druidry are always welcome to attend, but spaces are limited per event.
